The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Rock Valley College, in collaboration with the City of Rockford Economic Development Office, the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce, and The Workforce Connection, is proud to present a collaborative workshop focusing on funding opportunities and strategies for small businesses. This free event will be held at the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce building on May 12, 2025 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. CDT. 

During this session, participating business owners will explore funding and training resources available through WIOA and other workforce initiatives. The presentation will cover IL state grants as well as other resources available through The Workforce Connection. With direct engagement from workforce development professionals, this event is designed to foster partnerships and drive local economic growth. 

Following the presentation, join us for a brief networking session to establish new connections and promote ongoing collaboration. 

Attendance is limited to 30 local business owners, and refreshments will be provided.
