Each year, Mayor Tom McNamara delivers a State of the City address to provide an update on Rockford’s progress. Throughout his tenure, he has presented the address in a variety of settings, from neighborhood schools and community gatherings to formal presentations before the City Council. This approach reflects his belief that residents, elected officials and community partners all deserve direct access to information about the city’s direction.
This year, the Mayor will present the address to the business community at the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce’s event to highlight the vital role employers, entrepreneurs and investors play in fostering economic growth and shaping Rockford’s future. The Mayor will highlight recent accomplishments and outline his priorities for the year ahead in public safety, economic development, and neighborhoods. The full presentation will be accessible online following the event for everyone to view.
Registration closes April 9. Day-of registration will not be available.
