U.S. News and World Report ranks the UIC Retzky College of Pharmacy 15th among all colleges of pharmacy in the Nation and number one in Illinois. The patient-centered Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) curriculum helps develop confident and caring pharmacy practitioners with the ability to adapt and meet the challenging needs of society and advances in the pharmaceutical sciences. In 2010, the UIC Retzky College of Pharmacy opened a second campus on the UIC Health Sciences Campus in Rockford, where students benefit from small class sizes and personalized attention. The College is considered one, with locations on two campuses: Chicago and Rockford. Courses are taught by faculty on both campuses simultaneously via state-of-the-art technology. The UIC Retzky College of Pharmacy offers advanced degree including masters and PhD programs as well as post graduate PharmD fellowships and residency training in clinical pharmacy (PGY-1) and specialized (PGY-2) programs in a wide variety of clinical areas.
